7 Reasons to Love October

Ahhh!  October.  Every white girl’s favorite time of the year!  It’s mine too.  I guess I’ve got a little bit of white girl in me somewhere deep deep deep down.

Time to roll down the windows, play some Ben Rector with a (pumpkin spice?) latte in hand cruising through the beautiful leaves fluttering across the streets in the cool breeze.

What’s good about October?  Here’s a few.  Feel free to add to the list!

7) Orange, Yellow, and Red Leaves… Everywhere!

They don’t call it Fall for nothing, right?  Take a road trip up to the mountains in North Georgia or North Carolina and take it all in!

6) Awesome Candles

My roommates and I have a tradition… we get a candle to match the season.  See!  Guys can at least be a little bit festive.  We have feelings too, you know.

5) Scarfs, Uggs, and Oversized Sweaters 

Did I miss anything, ladies?  I can’t say I would know for sure.  I’m more of button down + vest type of guy when it comes to Fall.  Ya feel?

4) Pumpkin Spice…. Everything!

Hey so I have a major confession… I’ve never actually had a pumpkin spice latte.  Might need to change that.  I saw a commercial the other day for a pumpkin spice milkshake.  This is really getting out of hand.

3) Bon Fire Nights with Friends

I’m on a mission to roast the most perfectly golden brown marshmallow of all time.  I’ll let you know how it goes.

2) College Football

I can’t think of two things that go better together.  Cool weather and the Dawgs.  It culminates in the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville.  Let’s go!

Fall is awesome.  And it only gets better.  Thanksgiving, Christmas, the New Year, family reunions, and all!

I bet this list got you excited.  Me too.  I don’t believe in boring lists.
